Guess what? It was windy and hot on the trail today.

No, really. Really windy.

Bruce: eating Cookie's dust again.

Cookie: leaving Bruce in the dust.

And really hot...melted Cookie and the cookies!

Hot until you were sweaty from having climbed up the sunny side of a mountain where you reached the windy top and it was cold.

We saw marmots on the trail, sheep (also with bells), and then we crossed paths with a

horse who was wandering in the other direction. It wanted to nibble on our packs but Cookie gave him what for. Bruce thought the horse might be handy for carrying the packs but Cookie made him let it go.

Crossed over into Italy so now we're circumnavigating Monte Bianco.
