For anyone who thinks what we are doing is slightly bonkers, there are people who run it in less than 20 hours. By "it" we mean 176 km and almost 10,000 m of elevation.

They started more than a day after us but quickly caught up! The 39 km aid and timing station was set up at our Refuge.

The leaders came through at around 9:30 pm and 2 am was the cutoff time.

Check out the pictures...French volunteers get wine and the runners get sausage, cheese and bread (and soup and more).

Allez allez!

All distances and elevations are taken from GaiaGPS.com when we draw our routes.

We acknowledge the welcome and graciousness of many Indigenous peoples on whose land we enjoy our outdoor pursuits. This includes, but is not limited to the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Kosapsum and Songhees), W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum), T'Sou-ke, Scia'new, Coast Salish, Pacheedaht, Nuu-chah-nulth, Quw'ustun, Malahat, Stz'uminus, Hupacasath and Tsehaht peoples.
